Truth, Beauty & Saving the World - Science, Art & Nuclear, Greenhouse & Poverty Threats

The American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) lists nuclear, greenhouse and poverty threats as the most acute dangers facing humanity (see: http://www.climatesciencewatch.org/index.php/csw/details/holdren-aaas1/ ).

As a responsible, humanist scientist I have been doing my duty by INFORMING people about these threats e.g. see numerous articles on Media With Conscience News (MWC News: http://mwcnews.net/Gideon-Polya ) and my numerous blogs (e,g, see: http://www.blogger.com/profile/04156886772294243824 ), notably my course on Rational Risk Management (see: http://rationalriskmanagement.blogspot.com/ ).

As a member of the Melbourne-based Yarra Valley Climate Action Group (YVCAG; see: http://sites.google.com/site/yarravalleyclimateactiongroup/ ) that in turn is linked to the Climate Emergency Network (CEN; see: http://www.climateemergencynetwork.org/ ) and the Climate Movement (see: http://www.climatemovement.org.au/ ) I have been very active in INFORMING people about the Climate Emergency and Sustainability Emergency facing the Planet (see the Climate Emergency Fact Sheets placed on the Web via the Yarra Valley Climate Action Group (see: http://sites.google.com/site/yarravalleyclimateactiongroup/system/app/pages/s... ).

Unfortunately, in the Western Murdochracies we live in an extraordinary, holocaust ignoring, genocide ignoring Culture of Ignoring, a Culture of Denial, a Culture of Lying by Omission (see “Climate Emergency, Exceptionalism & Ignoring Downunder. Peace is the only way but Silence kills and Silence is complicity. We are obliged to INFORM others about abuses of humanity and risks to humanity.
